Breaking: Johansen dodges a bullet for vicious hit!

Nashville Predators forward Ryan Johansen dodged a bullet Thursday, as it was reported that he will not face any supplemental discipline for his high hit on San Jose Sharks defender Marc-Edouard Vlasic.

Here is the hit: 

Johansen did received a two-minute penalty for boarding on the hit.Vlasic left last night’s 4-1 victory of the Predators after taking a nasty hit to the head. He came up woozy, left the game with the help of teammates and didn’t return. Joe Pavelski defended his teammate by dropping the gloves with the Preds forward eight minutes after the hit, but the League chose not to punish him further. 

The Sharks have yet to provide an official update on the defenseman's status.
