Jonathan Drouin has been talking about how happy he is to be part of the Montreal Canadiens since the day he was acquired, in exchange of Mikhail Sergachev. The 22-year-old forward has decided to prove once again how grateful he is to be in Montreal by making a huge donation to the CHUM, a hospital in his new hometown.
"He will be making a $500,000 donation over 10 years and also pledges to raise $5M through a variety of initiatives for the CHUM."
Max Pacioretty and Habs legend Serge Savard both attended the press conference.
This reminds us of P.K. Subban's $10 million donation to Montreal Children's Hospital, back in September 2015.
