Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed that defenseman Torey Krug will be out of the lineup tonight, as the Bruins are facing the San Jose Sharks.

Krug has bee dealing with an upper-body injury since he was forced to leave Wednesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks. He wasn't able to play on Thursday night, so things are not looking good for him.

The Bruins are really unlucky so far this season, as they are already dealing with long-term injury of David Backes, and Brad Marchand who has not played in this road trip.

Krug, 26, was signed as an undrafted free agent by Boston in 2012 after he played three seasons with Michigan State (NCAA). In 338 games played at the NHL level, he registered 187 points, and added 16 points in 27 playoff games.
