Great news, Flyers fans. After taking a hard hit against the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 28th and missing the new few games of actions, defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere appears to finally be ready to return to the lineup.
He had been dealing with apparent concussion-like symptoms, along with Nolan Patrick and Radko Gudas, and he is the first to finally recover.
Despite the fact that he is a game-time decision, it seems quite likely that he will be back tonight.
Mark Alt and Will O'Neill had been called up from the AHL to fill the voids created by Gudas and Gostisbehere, so if 'Ghost' does in fact return, one of them will sit. It will likely be O'Neill.
Gostisbere (13 points in 11 games) will provide a much-needed injection of offense from the backend against the Colorado Avalanche tonight.
