Breaking: Kings place forward on IR
Keystone Press

The Los Angeles Kings have placed forward Andy Andreoff on the injured reserve, the team announced on Tuesday.

The team didn't provide any additional information on the nature of his injury, but it would make sense that Andreoff is dealing with concussion symptoms, after he was knocked out by Anaheim Ducks defenseman Kevin Bieksa

Andreoff, 26, was drafted 80th overall by the Kings in 2011. He played 136 games in the NHL so far, registering 17 points. Prior to his injury, the Pickering, Ontario native registered two points in 22 games played.

The Kings are playing on the road for their next four games, beginning tonight, as they face the Detroit Red Wings.
