The Los Angeles Kings are reportedly look to make a pair of big signings, and that could mean an impending trade.

The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta is now reporting that the new Los Angeles Kings management is attempting to bring in two big name veterans, current San Jose Sharks forward Joe Thornton and current Washington Capitals forward Justin Williams.

It was believed that the Kings would attempt to trade Dustin Brown in order to make room for some offseason acquisitions, however Pagnotta is now reporting that a trade of Brown is unlikely. This may be due to the fact that the Kings could not find a taker for Brown at his current price tag, especially given his struggles as of late.

That being said Pagnotta believes that the Kings could attempt to move another forward, although he did not elaborate on which forward the Kings could be looking to trade.
