Surprising moves by Claude Julien...

The Montreal Canadiens have made some changes to their lineup prior to their contest against the Florida Panthers tonight. Head coach Claude Julien has announced that forwards Nicolas Deslauriers and Jacob De La Rose, and defenseman Brett Lernout will watch the game from the press box.

Defenseman David Schlemko, who missed the previous two games with a virus, will be in the lineup, and Byron Froese will also take part in tonight's game.

Deslauriers has however been one of the few passionate players in the Habs' lineup lately. In 19 games with Montreal, he has tallied four goals and seven points.

Julien did not say anything else on his changes. Surprises to come as the Habs are trying to put an end to the awful losing streak and start 2018 on a better foot.
