His season was thought to be in jeopardy, thankfully the news isn't TOO dire.
Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Carl Grundstrom underwent knee surgery this weekend, following a brutal injury while playing for Frolunda HC in the SHL.
Frolunda's head coach Roger Rönnberg feared that he'd lose Grundstrom for the rest of the season - fortunately for everyone involved, the recovery time will likely only be 4 to 6 weeks.
Grundstrom, 19, was the Leafs' 2nd round pick in 2016, selected at 57th overall. He has yet to play overseas, but is an interesting prospect in the team's pipeline.
