The Toronto Maple Leafs are getting ready to face the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, and have already started to make changes to the lineup.
The team has announced that Kasperi Kapanen has been loaned back to the Marlies in the American Hockey League. The young winger has been held pointless in three games with the big club.
In addition to this change, the Leafs have called up forward Frederik Gauthier.
In eight games with the Marlies the season, Gauthier has amassed two assists. At 6'5 and 232 pounds, the young forward will be able to add some grit to the Leafs' lineup as well.
