The Buffalo Sabres are still looking for their first win of the season, and were back on the ice this morning for a team's practice before they face off against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday.

Sabres players and management were scared during practice as netminder Robin Lehner was hit in the face by a shot. He went on his own to the bench to have a look at his face and mask, but was able to return to the ice and left earlier than his teammates.

It was reported after practice that Lehner had to leave early to get some stitches done due to the puck that hit him in the face.

Coach Phil Housley made sure to confirm that his starting goalie should be fine.
