There may be a major change coming in the playoffs.
With the Calgary Flames down 0-3 in their first round playoff series against the Anaheim Ducks many expected changes to be made, but perhaps none as drastic as the ones head coach Glen Gulutzan may be contemplating.
According to a break news report from the TSN staff, the Flames head coach is now refusing to commit to Brian Elliot as his starter for Game 4 of the playoffs, something that would appear to indicate a change in goal is coming.
Of course this is the playoffs so Gulutzan may be using the media merely to play mind games with his opponent Randy Carlylem but given Calgary's current predicament a change in goal does seem like a realistic possibility for Game 4.
More to come.
