Breaking: Major update on Lack after tonight's scary injury.
Some minor bits of news trickling out of the hospital.
HockeyFeed
We have some major updates on Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Eddie Lack.
The first update came from Willie Lack, the father of Eddie Lack, and he used social media to send the following message to concerned fans.
"Eddie is sending his great full thanks for your love and prayers from the hospital."
Presumably this means that Lack is conscious and able to communicate with those around him, a good sign considering he was taken off the ice on a stretcher. More good news has come in an official announcement from the Canes just moments ago:
Eddie Lack is currently undergoing tests at UNC REX Hospital. He does have full feeling in his extremities. The Hurricanes will provide additional information about his condition when it is available.
We will continue to provide updates as they are made available.
