There has been a major development on the Jacob Trouba trade front.

After many writers, including this one, speculated that Trouba's new deal with the Winnipeg Jets was designed to facilitate a trade to another organization, Jacob Trouba himself has refuted that speculation.

According to a breaking news report from Winnipeg Jets insider Gary Lawless, he has been informed by Trouba that the young defenseman has rescinded his trade demands.

"I signed that paper to be here for two years," said Trouba.
