Breaking: Marchand out with injury?

The Boston Bruins have been the definition of 'Bad News, Bears' this season.

The trend continues as they are without three players today in practice.

The absences of David Krejci and Anton Khudobin aren't surprising, but that of Brad Marchand is. He was seen favoring his knee in Thursday night's game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Bruce Cassidy will assuredly provide an update on the star forward's status following practice.

Let's hope it's nothing too serious, and that his absence is merely precautionary.

Marchand has 13 points in 11 games this season.
