Big injury on Monday night.

The rivalry between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers has been one of the most intense in the National Hockey League over the past few seasons, and this incident is likely to make that even worse.

On Monday night veteran goaltender Matt Murray was injured when Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek went crashing into his crease, dislodging the net in the process.

It's clear that the incident was entirely unintentional and was instead the product of Voracek losing an edge when he attempted to make a move to open up Murray for a goal scoring opportunity.

The result was Murray's leg getting pinned between Voracek and the post and that is where we believe the injury occurred.
