Breaking: McQuaid send Larsson flying into the board.

The Bruins' defenceman Adam McQuaid still had some anger against the Buffalo Sabres as they injured David Backes during their prior meeting. McQuaid was also held by the linesmen as William Carrier whacked at him with a few punches... nothing to calm down the poor McQuaid.

Rushing for the puck, McQuaid initiated the contact with Johan Larsson who was ready to battle. Larsson came off flying into the board and lingered in pain on the ice.

According to Dan Bylsma, Larsson would be out "for weeks" with a dislocated wrist.
