The 2017 National Hockey League's Stanley Cup Champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins, made their highly anticipated visit to the White House on Tuesday where they were greeted and honored by President Donald Trump, and as expected the media was all over it.

While most of the players were quite deliberate in their attempts to steer clear of political topics given the backlash the team has been facing for even attending the event, however head coach Mike Sullivan did see fit to answer at least one question on the subject of the national anthem protests.

While some NHL coaches have already made it quite clear that they would have a zero tolerance policy regarding the national anthem protests, Sullivan was much more diplomatic in his response.

According to a report from Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press, the Penguins head coach was asked if he would "have a problem" with one of his players taking a knee during the anthem, a question Sullivan responded to with a simple "no."

Unsurprisingly it seems that the two-time Stanley Cup winning coach has bigger things on his mind that what his players do before the puck drops.
