Huge update following the Cup Final.
For the last two summers one of the most intriguing topics has been the future of veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and while there have always been rumors he would be traded, he has thus far remained a Penguin.
Now however that may be about to change, as a report from Jimmy Murphy is reporting that Fleury will be exposed by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League's Expansion Draft.
According to Murphy, a source close to the situation has confirmed to him that not only have the Penguins requested Fleury waive his no-movement clause for the expansion draft, but that Fleury has in fact agreed to do so.
There always remains the possibility that the Penguins could attempt to make a trade rather than expose Fleury, a scenario that would almost certainly see them lose him for nothing, however it sounds like Fleury's time in Pittsburgh is about to come to an end, one way or another.
