Once the season officially kicks off this Thursday, the Boston Bruins are set to have a few core players already on the sideline.
Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, and Austin Czarnik will all be absent due to their injuries.
McQuaid is considered day-to-day with an injury he sustained last week. Miller is out due to an damage he received in the overtime victory against the Flyers, and Czarnik fell victim to a questionable late hit in the same game.
This means that the Bruins will have the season opener against the Blue Jackets with a roster full of holes. However, with both Brandon Carlo and Rob O’Gara healthy and ready to go, they may as well start the season with the B's, until both McQuaid and Miller are back in action.
