The Nashville Predators have inked forward Frederick Gaudreau to a three-year deal, worth $2 million. The contract is two-way for the first two seasons, and one-way for the last year. The annual average value is $667,000.
The Preds have confirmed the news on their official Twitter account:
The 24-year-old played only nine games in Smashville last season, but was a true revelation during the playoffs. While he only amassed one assists during the regular season, he racked up three goals in just eight playoff games. He also recorded 48 points in 66 games with the Milwaukee Admirals, in the AHL.
