We have an absolutely stunning report that appears to fly in the face of an announcement from the National Hockey League.
When the league announced it's new apparel deal for the jersey's, one of the notable parts of that announcement was a moratorium on alternate jerseys for the 2017-2018 season. It seems however that the Maple Leafs may be granted a very special exception.
According to a report from Between the Posts the Maple Leafs may be rocking a brand new red design next season in honor of Canada’s 150th birthday, and we have to admit these jerseys look absolutely incredible.
There hasn't been an official report yet, but you can see the leaked design below, and once again they are beautiful.
