The Edmonton Oilers today announced that they have fired a member of their coaching staff. The announcement came via the teams official twitter, Frederic Chabot will no longer be the teams goalie coach, he will instead be replaced by Dustin Schwartz. It's not much of a surprise given the performance between the nets this season for the Oilers.  However the league's worst save percentage of .883 can't be blamed solely on Frederic Chabot. Ben Scrivens has arguably been the worst netminder in the entire NHL and Viktor Fasth hasn't been much better in the back up role. You can expect that this will be just the first of many changes if the team continues it's struggles. Was this a good move or a bad one? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
