According to Elliotte Friedman from Sportsnet, the league salary floor will be set at 52,8M$.

This is in line with the projections. Earlier this year, league's commissionner Gary Bettman said he expected the cap to be somewhere between 70 and 71M$.
The NHL executives are currently in Las Vegas for the NHL awards. They will also vote on new rules like 3-on-3 overtime and the possibility of a coach's challenge.
