The NHL breaks the Collective Bargaining Agreement rules
The NHL breaks the Collective Bargaining Agreement rules when designing the game schedule this season for three NHL teams.
Washington Capitals, Florida Panthers and Anaheim Ducks have played their first game of the season on the 4th day after the beginning of the season. According to the CBA, each club must play at least 1 NHL game during the first 3 days of the regular season and at least 1 NHL game during the last 3 days of the regular season.
It will be interesting to see what the National Hockey League Players Association's reaction will be and how the involved teams will respond on this situation to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.

Back in DC for Caps-Devils tonight. Apparently, technically, having an opener 4 days in is against the CBA. pic.twitter.com/9Vvf91C4HX
