The Nashville Predators may have just suffered a huge loss.
Predators captain Mike Fisher was shaken up in the third period of Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Anaheim Ducks, but the true concern only began when the overtime period started.
With the Predators having a huge chance to take a commanding lead in the series, Fisher did not make it out for the third period, and in fact is not even on the Predators bench at this time.
Needless to say the lost of a player like Fisher could be devastating to the Predators both in terms of their line up as well as in terms of team morale. More to come as soon as the details of Fisher's injury are made available.
Update: Teresa Walker of the Associated Press is reporting that Fisher took a knee to the head late in the period.
