Breaking: NHL GM calls emergency press conference, something big is happening.

There is some big news on the horizon but as of right now what the news might be is a total mystery. 

According to a breaking news report from National Hockey League insider Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion has called for a press conference at 5:15 pm EST, a press conference that had not previously been scheduled to take place. 

Now there were rumors earlier today about a potential sale of the team however it seems unlikely that the Senators general manager would be the man to make that announcement if that were indeed the reason for today's press conference. 

The Senators have only won 1 of their last 13 games and many have been predicting major organizational changes would be on the horizon and this may finally be the hammer dropping.

Some have speculated that head coach Guy Boucher may be relived of his duties but that is only speculation and nothing concrete has emerged on that front either. Stay tuned we will be bringing you the news as it happens.
