Breaking: NHL head coach tells star forward he's 'not good enough.'

A brand new National Hockey League head coach has sent a clear message to his squad, and he's done it via one of the team's star players. 

A report from News 1130 News' Rick Dhaliwal, he was informed by none other than Daniel Sedin that head coach Travis Green had some harsh comments for him when discussing past performance. 

According to Daniel, Greene stated "In our 1st meeting with Travis Green, he told us we were not good enough last year."

It's unclear if Green was addressing the entire Canucks squad at the time of making these comments, or if "us" simply means Daniel Sedin and perhaps a few other of the teams core players. 

Needless to say Green has come out of the gate quite strong, even before coaching a single NHL game with his new team, and it will be interesting to see if his players react negatively or positively to this message.
