A National Hockey League play-by-play analyst has just dropped a major bombshell after revealing a massive trade rumor on radio today.

Montreal Canadiens play-by-play man Pierre Houde was a guest on 91.9 Sports on Tuesday morning when he was asked about the trade speculation surrounding the Colorado Avalanche, his answer revealed that he believes general manager Joe Sakic is looking for a home run trade.

Houde claims that Sakic has been working very hard to trade both captain Gabriel Landeskog and arguably the teams best forward in Matt Duchene, but here's the kicker, Sakic would like to trade them both to the same team in order to get a huge return.

Obviously this would be a massive migration of salary, and would require the Avalanche to take back contracts, potentially even bad contracts, in order to make the financials work, once again adding value to their proposition.

Houde didn't comment on what teams could possibly be involved in such a massive deal, but you have to imagine that in a situation like this no player or draft pick would be off the table.
