It looks like we may be nearing the end of the Vadim Shipachyov saga.
We reported earlier this week that the Vegas Golden Knights allowed his agent Petr Svoboda to seek a trade, since the Russian forward obviously wasn't able to secure a spot on the regular roster.
And while it seems clear that Shipachyov has no desire to play in the American Hockey League, he was supposed to report to the Chicago Wolves anyways. But that didn't happen, according to Sportsnet journalist Eric Engels:
Engels also mentioned Svoboda is still actively looking for a transaction for his client. And it looks like many teams are interested in his services:
The 30-year-old Russian only had the occasion to play three games with Vegas this season. He scored one goal and ended up with a +/- ratio of +3. He recorded 26 goals and 50 assists, good for 76 points last year with the St. Petersburg SKA, last year.
