Breaking: NHL releases power rankings!
KeyStone Press

The NHL released its Super 16 Power Rankings today, and you'll definitely be happy with where they ranked the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Hawks put up points in each of their first four games, going 3-0-1. This includes a massive win over the reigning Stanley Cup champions Pittsburgh Penguins by a score of 10-1.

Chicago's top line has been absolutely dominant - combining for 18 points already. Brandon Saad, who was brought back in the famous off-season trade for Artemi Panarin has posted 5 goals in 4 games.

They've been without one of their key top six forwards in Nick Schmaltz for the majority of the last 3 games, so when he makes his return, which shouldn't be too long from now, the Hawks will be the team to beat all that much more.

Chicago beat out the Toronto Maple Leafs (3-1-0) and St. Louis Blues (4-0-0) for top spot.

Do you agree with the ranking?
