NHL star released first single through iTunes.

Mika Zibanejad took the world by surprise on Friday by releasing his first single through iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music.

A lesser-known fact about Zibanejad is that he has a passion for producing EDM music, and he’s been working out of his home studio for years. To further develop his skills, he enrolled as a student at the Canada Recording Connection, apprenticing at Johnny Hall Productions in Ottawa.

The song is about the ups and downs of a relationship. “You want distance, but you can’t stand being away from the other person. There are always things you like and don’t like, but in the end your feelings always make you want to stay.”
