We may have found the unluckiest team in the National Hockey League.
While the expectations for the Tampa Bay Lightning coming into this season were nothing short of another trip to the to the Stanley Cup Finals, only the most heartless of fans will place blame on the organization this season if they fall short of their goal.
That's because according to a report from SB Nation, the Tampa Bay Lightning are now dealing with a stunning $28.35 million worth of injuries after they lost yet another star player in goaltender Ben Bishop on Tuesday night.
The injury list for Tampa Bay now includes Steven Stamkos, Ryan Callahan, Nikita Kucherov, Ondrej Palat and the aforementioned Bishop. It's hard not to feel for the team and their fan base at this point.
