Breaking: NHL veteran of over 500 games placed on waivers

The Calgary Flames have placed veteran winger Tanner Glass on waivers.

The 33-year-old veteran was a surprise addition to the Flames' roster this year after impressing during a PTO in the preseason. But with no goals and no points through seven games with the team and rookie Mark Jankowski nailing down a full-time roster spot, there's simply no room left for Glass on the squad.
