The Edmonton Oilers have announced that they’ve signed 28 year-old unrestricted free-agent Brad Malone to a two-year contract.

The 28 year-old Malone split the 2016-17 campaign between the AHL’s Hershey Bears and Chicago Wolves tallying 11 goals and 28 points in 71 games. His last stint in the NHL came during the 2015-16 season with the Carolina Hurricanes where he scored two goals and six points in 57 games.

With his new deal, there’s no doubt that Malone aims to get back into the NHL and stay there for good.
