The Edmonton Oilers have activated forward Anton Slepyshev from the injured reserve, the team announced on Sunday. He is expected to play against the Boston Bruins today.

He was placed on the injured reserve on November 10th with a groin injury.

The Russian forward was drafted 88th overall by the Oilers in 2013. He played 62 games at the NHL level, recording 13 points. He added three points in 12 playoff games.

Prior to his injury, Slepyshev registered two points in ten games played.
