Breaking: Oilers get a defensive boost!
Keystone Press

The Edmonton Oilers can finally count of a full set of healthy and available defensemen before they face the Chicago Blackhawks tonight. Oscar Klefbom will return from a shoulder injury.

Klefbom only missed three games, but he hasn’t been right all season. Now the Oilers can finally count on a healthy blue line in time to push for the second half of the season.

Klefbom reportedly got an injection in the shoulder last week, but he originally started having issues with it in the 2017 playoffs. His play ability and confidence has been affected, but now, he is back on track.

The Oilers have not benefited from a full set of healthy defenders since the start of the season. As the Oilers activate Klefbom from injured reserve, they’ll have to make a roster move to stay within the 23-man roster limit.

We will keep you posted on their roster change.
