Chicago Sun-Times' Mark Lazerus reported the surprising comments the 28-year-old made, in the occasion of the team's annual convention:
Kane is however still positive his team can still aspire to win it all, as soon as next year:
The Blackhawks recorded 50 wins, 23 losses and 9 overtime losses last season, good for 109 points and the first rank in the Central division. However, they were swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Preds, a crucial loss that prompted many changes among not only the coaching staff but the players.
