Breaking: Penguins call ups may be looking to send a message to Washington.
Keystone Press.

The second round Stanley Cup Playoff match up between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins has been one of the more intense series we've seen in this post season, and now it appears the Penguins are getting ready to take it to the next level.

Following the suspension of Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, the Penguins have announced the call up of professional tough guy Tom Sestito, as well as defenseman Steve Olesky from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.

General manager Jim Rutherford confirmed the announcement on Tuesday, and after a pair of ugly hits, once from each side, you have to wonderexactly what kind of message the Penguins are tying to send to the Capitals with this move. If Sestito is in the line up for Game 4 you can likely expect some big time fireworks.
