The Pittsburgh Penguins have made significant roster moves on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Penguins official website, the team has cut a total of eight players from their training camp roster, although all 7 of the 8 will remain within the Penguins organization.
Seven of the 8 players cut on Wednesday will be reporting to the American Hockey League with the Penguins affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Of those seven players four are forwards, Tom Kostopoulos, Ryan Haggerty, Reid Gardiner and Gage Quinney two are defensemen, Dylan Zink and Jeff Taylor, and the lone goaltender is Sean Maguire.
However for 18-year-old center Jordan Bellerive it will be back to junior with his team, the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League.
