The Pittsburgh Penguins top players continue to drop to injury.

On Thursday after several question from the media Pittsburgh's head coach Mike Sullivan finally admitted that Kris Letang had been sidelined with what he would only described as an upper-body injury.

It's unclear how much time Letang will miss, but as a player with a long history of injuries one has to believe the Penguins will lead on the side of caution in this case. Sullivan again was vague in his response stating that Letang would be out day to day, refusing to establish any kind of time table for his return.

Letang now joins Sidney Crosby and Matt Murray as truly top tier players sidelined in Pittsburgh, with both Crosby and Murray having yet to even play a game this season.
