BREAKING : Pens to recall HUGE list of AHLer.

If there's one thing we know about the playoff is that you need a LOT of depth to make a deep run. It's improbable a team will dodge injuries for the whole run and you need quality players in backup at every position, just in case. 

The Penguins suffered an immense amount of injuries this year, it is well known. Quality players such as Kris Letang, Matt Murray, Patric Hornqvist or Carl Hagelin are still on the injured roster. This state of affair gave a chance to Jake Guentzel to shine in the big show, but it's still disquieting to see so many injuries. 

As the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins is now officially out of the Playoffs, Jim Rutherford recalled the following players in a massive insurance move. 

Interestingly, Tom Kostopoulos, who just completed an amazing year, is not in the list. The 38 years old may have asked for a few days off to cool down before being recalled however. 

David Warsofsky is the most likely to get a crack at the lineup, him who had an excellent 47 points in 58 games. 

Anyhow, rest assured Pens fans, we will not run out of players this year!
