 Cross-checking your opponent in the face is not permitted

Nashville Predators forward Colton Sissons could face a one-game suspension after crosschecking Olli Maatta in the face at the end of the third period on Thursday.

Sissons received a game penalty which should lead him to a 1-game suspension according to the NHL rules book.
