Roman Polak hit Oliver Bjorkstrand from behind in yesterday’s matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Yet it’ll be another heavy hit from behind that will raise controversy on whose fault it is as Bjorkstrand appears to turns his back at the last second.

Bjorkstrand’s head unfortunately appeared to strike the glass hard, and he went down hard on the ice and lay motionless for several moments before trainers arrived to tend to him.

The NHL player safety department soon after the hit announced Toronto’s player Roman Polak will have a hearing tomorrow morning for boarding Columbus' Oliver Bjorkstrand.
