BREAKING: Possible injury for Mike Smith

As reported by hockey insider Kristen Odland on Twitter, Calgary Flames goaltender Mike Smith has not returned in net for the second period of the game against the St.Louis Blues. There was no official word from the team, and he didn't suffer any apparent injury during the first period.

Looks like Eddie Lack is starting the second period for the #Flames.

Smith is now nowhere to be seen, and he's not even on the bench, as Odland reported it.

This could be a devastating news for the Flames as they are about to head depart on a hectic road trip in which they'll play six games in 11 days.
