Breaking: Potential catastrophe for the Montreal Canadiens.

If you thought things couldn't get any worse for the Montreal Canadiens guess again.

According to a report from Habs insider Marco Normandin, Canadiens superstar Carey Price was spotted breaking his stick in frustration during a skating drill in Brossard. Quebec this morning, and although we don't know for sure it appears Price may have suffered some kind of setback during the drills.

The Canadiens have flat out denied that Price has suffered any sort of setback, but as Normandin points out in his report, the Canadiens have attempted to downplay this whole thing from the very start, and there's also the matter of the video evidence.

Canadian Sports broadcaster RDS has made the video of Price's drills following the breaking of the stick available exclusively on their website. If you skip the video to the 1:40 mark you will see Price comes up lame as he attempts to skate hard, and grabs his leg in pain, the video ends shortly after. You can view the video here.

Not a good sign at all for the Habs.
