For the 5th time this season, Nashville Predators prospect Eeli Tolvanen has been named the KHL’s Rookie of the Week.
The 18-year-old, 30th overall pick from this past June’s 2017 NHL Entry Draft has torn up the KHL so far this season with Jokerit Helsinki. The Finnish winger has an incredible 13 goals and 23 points in just 23 games. With this kind of production at such a young age, there’s no telling just how good he’ll be once he arrives in the NHL.
This past week, the teenage sensation fired 15 shots, scored two goals, and averaged more than 16 minutes on the ice for Helsinki to earn himself top rookie honors once again.
