BREAKING: Red Wings Claim Former Player

Would you believe it?

 

After sending prospective sniper Martin Frk to the Carolina Hurricanes through the waiver wire a few weeks ago, the Detroit Red Wings have snatched him up once again after the Hurricanes waived him.

 

Minutes ago, they claimed Frk off of waivers, in what is surely one of the most shocking moves Red Wings fans will see all year, at the very least.

 

They proceeded to immediately assign him to the Grand Rapids Griffins, which indicates that perhaps fans have not seen the last of the 23-year-old Czech Republic native.

 

These same fans questioned whether or not the Red Wings organization made the right choice by placing Frk on waivers in the first place. Fingers were pointed at general manager Ken Holland, though many retracted their comments after learning that Carolina had sent him packing yesterday.

 

Now? Well, this is just starting to get confusing…
