Breaking: Rumors of a trade on the way from the Calgary Flames!
A quick trade from the Flames after signing Jagr?
HockeyFeed
The Calgary Flames made a huge move on Monday when they signed National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr, but that may not be the only move they make today.
While these are still just very early rumors, Rick Dhaliwal of 1130 News is now reporting that he has heard the Calgary Flames are currently working on a trade deal, and based on what we are hearing it may be close indeed.
According to Dhaliwal the trade would involve 32-year-old Flames veteran forward Troy Brouwer, and one has to wonder if there isn't a connection to the Jagr signing here. Brouwer and Jagr both play at the right-wing position and it's hard to dismiss this as a mere coincidence given the timing.
No word yet on who the Flames are currently in talks with but we will bring you more information as it becomes available.
