Breaking: Scouts from team heavily involved in trade rumors spotted at rival game.

There are a lot of rumblings around the National Hockey League right now and this certainly won't help tone down the rumors.

The Arizona Coyotes are one of the most talked about teams when it comes to trade discussion so it's particularly notable that they have dispatched not one but two scouts tonight to oversee a game where they are not playing.

Bleacher Report's Adrian Dater is reporting that two scouts from the Coyotes organization will be on hand when the Vancouver Canucks face off against the Colorado Avalanche, and it seems likely that Vancouver would be the team they are looking to deal with.

It's been no secret that Canucks general manager Jim Benning has been shopping for a forward to help his team's offense and the Coyotes have been dangling center Martin Hanzal for the better part of this NHL season.

What makes this move even more curious is the fact that the Coyotes will be playing Vancouver later this week in Vancouver, leaving us to wonder if there is some sense of urgency or if the Avalanche, who also have been heavily involved in trade speculation, could somehow be involved in this.
