He’s not going anywhere!
Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reported this morning that Craig Anderson has signed a two-year contract extension with the Ottawa Senators.
The contract carries an annual average value of $4.75 million over the two years.
Due to personal reasons, the starting netminder only suited up for 40 games last year, posting an excellent 25-11-4 record, along with a 2.28 goals against average and .926 save percentage during the regular season.
His previous deal with the Senators carried a USD 4.2 million cap hit over three seasons. Anderson was set to become an unrestricted free agent after the current season.
